Welcome to the official website of the Bajan Dream Project: the newest housing and poverty relief project in Barbados.

The first of its kind to be implemented in Barbados, the Bajan Dream Project is a social initiative that seeks to reduce housing inadequacy as an indicator of poverty in Barbados. The project is targeted at undersheltered individuals who live in poverty throughout Barbados, giving them the chance to live the "Bajan dream" through the replacement or repair of their homes, and the provision of the means to escape from the grasps of poverty. The project incorporates state lobbying, housing needs assessment and fundraising to help relieve the plight of inadequately sheltered individuals with the cooperation of state relief agencies. This website provides information for the media, the public and potential sponsors on the work of the Bajan Dream Project, and information on how you can be involved.

Undersheltered individuals
are  those who are unable to meet  basic living conditions within their homes. The Bajan Dream Project seeks to address these individuals' issues of housing inadequacy and support them in taking themselves out of poverty.
